Hi Homely, this is the hoverer. I'm thinking that giving her food has probably delayed her departure. As she's feeling full, she has no incentive to go looking for food. I have just read all of the comments on here since the cam was discovered by lizardmomma on the 10th of April....

Oh, no - I take off for a swim meet for the morning, and everyone is gone but our little one! So sorry I missed seeing them go. MD, is the "hiver hover" one that you saw this last one left, or one of the others? I hope she does okay on her own, this last little one!

I watched this bird hiver and hover in the opening for 51 minutes and then a parent brought her some food. She looked very close to going but I'm glad she's had a hearty meal before the off!

This girl soo wants to go. She keeps leaning forward until her tail points to the ceiling and then chickens out! Reminds me of myself in swimming class when I was learning to dive, leaning forward almost to the point of no return and then standing upright.
