Hi lizardmomma. Less than 5 weeks from eggs to this stage. Amazing. It was scary when several of them got feathers stuck. They seemed to have phase of feather chewing! Made me feel quite helpless. They have such lovely eyes and apparently have wonderful vision. Today they seem mo...

Yes, I have seen them looking at the camera, and it is a strange feeling. And it's really weird when they got feathers and such stuck in their throats, I just wanted to reach throught the camera and pull it out. It has been quite an experience being able to observe birds literall...

Hi Homely, thank you sooo much for the hint on finding out about Flemming Funch and Opentopia. He's a remarkable man but I think the best thing he has done is start Opentopia. It never ceases to amaze me. I get great enjoyment travelling around the world via cameras, and the fun ...
Garden Cam on Gravörvägen — Stigtomta, Sweden

Homely, I watched this cam all through the winter when the snow was knee deep and never saw a soul. There always seemed to be a small light on in that distant building. Lovely to actually see people.

Wow - I've never actually seen people on this cam before. It's a gorgeous day and they are sunbathing on their deck. They are very... blonde! Yay Sweden!

Did you try googling Funch and Opentopia together? That turns up plenty when I do it...

Hi Homely. I'm missing Kyle's 16 consecutive, one line comments on the same site about something he imagines is happening!  :>  It isn't the same without him but I'm sure he'll be back soon. As for Mr Funch, I couldn't find any connection between him and Opentopia. I'm beginning...

Hi, MD - Did you ever find our Mr. Funch? Google should have done the trick for it! I am missing Kyle keeping conversation going everywhere... hope things are well for him in Carolina.  To everyone else who may be swinging by the bench here, don't forget to drop a line from time...

LOL!!!!!! Just think, this time next year we could be looking at this cam and one of these babies  could be the parent and we will never be sure.  Have you noticed them look at the cam?  Several times I've felt that THEY could see ME. Most offputting.

I know MD, I feel very protective towards our babies, I bet after they leave, they won't even call or write to let us know they're OK...:>

Hi all. 111 degrees is far too hot for June! Far too hot fullstop. And the chicks have been a bit testy today. Almost 5 weeks in a close fitting box would do it to me, too. I can't help but think they are not prepared for a life outside this box. For a start, finding a place to l...

Hi Gang! Wow, they have grown up over the last 2 days, I can't believe how beautiful they are. I did see one sitting in the opening, and yes, another one almost pushed him/her out...I'm already having separation anxiety! : > And yes, I think our babies are superior, they grew so ...

Yes, very neat. I think it must be a new cam. In the last 7 or 8 months Opentopia has increased from just over 2,300 cams to more than 4,000. Good news for us!
