The volcano has been erupting consistently since 1954. Last year (2011) there were 996 explosive eruptions (plus over 300 minor ones). In January, 2012 alone there were 172 eruptions..... which is a huge amount. You can see an eruption count here: www.nhk.or.jp/kagoshima...

I checked and there are 2 possibilities, the "Morge " for the Baltimore Sun, or, a company the makes Oxygen sensors. At least that was the hit I got, have a great day
