quite a way to run a business....the cable company does the same....and then they have the nerve to charge for a house call....I'm paying for a service and if the service doesn't work, I have to pay more....something is very wrong here!!!!!!

That's disgusting. My bill is just a day rate, night rate and a daily charge that you have to pay whether or not you use any electricity. I suppose that's for maintaining the supply. I've just read your comment again and I think it's really shocking.

we really have a conglomerate going on here...my electricity itself is only about....okay...I found one...out of $234.30 for 1 month of power...the power itself was only $128.13....everything else was extra chargs that are monthly....distribution charge...transmission charge...de...

Good morning MD....actually had the power company call to say we may lose the power due to the high winds coming...up to 60 mph gusts!! got up this morning thinking it was around 6...went to the kitchen, checked the clock...it was after 7... we set the clocks back an hour tonight...

I'm billed in cubic metres. Just checked and a cubic metre is 1000 litres. I can't be bothered to find my last bill right this moment but I think I only use about 1,500 per month. Mind you ..... I do my washing at the laundry so that saves a lot of water.

unbelievable....my water bill comes every 3 months and it has on it the amount of water used in those 3 months...I'll have to check it the next time it comes!!!!

I can't even guess as to what they think people are doing with all that water....are you filling jugs of water and storing it in your attic?? and they said that was the amount used every day per person!!!!
