They work like roller blinds except the window has to have a fitting each side that the screen fits into .... to make sure the insects can't get past it. On the link .... the picture shows a screen half way down. The black stripe across the bottom of the screen is actually brist...

LOL! Yeah, we get along nicely now that we're 3000 miles apart. :D So, he says it's fabric because he can see it flapping in the wind. I can kinda see it that way, but who knows. Guess we'll just have to stay tuned for further developements. :)

LOL!!!!!!! I'm amazed that you did it!!!! I don't think it's a beach tent. The waves would have moved it and it isn't budging at all. It's nice that you still get on ok with ex ..... and that he doesn't question your sanity.... yet. I'm ok with my second hubby but the firs...

He says it's fabric...most likely the top of a 4 post beach tent. What do you think? BTW, he says he has had no reason to question my sanity...YET!
