Yes, was one of those things where it is pretty in some ways, but lots and lots of damage. No heat,no lights. At least the food stayed frozen LOL, but we couldn't cook it. When you have time look at other footage for that storm. I hope Katie isn't getting any of that.

OMG thats amazing it looks like a film set. All that moisture frozen solid to the tree branches !. We get a light frost but nothing like that.

One of the young men who taped that is a tornado chaser and has a show on TLC(I think) called 'storm chasers' here in the states I believe he is a student at the University of OK here where I live.

I think perhaps that has happened. I lucked out here. After the storm front moved through here it turned to freezing rain causing lots of down power lines and trees. Dec 2007 we had such an ice storm...I had no power for 3 days.

No not heard a thing from KB, for a few days and thats really unusual. Although she was worried about losing her phone or power lines if the weather got bad!

Lucky you! It got down in the teens here last night. Hopefully it is going to warm up for the weekend. We had over 4 inches of sleet that is now trying to melt and refreeze. Anyone heard from Katie? I know the weather I got was headed her way.
