ok, one more tip, sometimes one is off, for some reason, we all see the square of the flat front of the blade off a bit, to remedy this,, tape on a pencil on line on the putter, and practice for an hour using this method, you would be surprised at the natural feel for being square to the target at all distances, After removing the aide, especially those short putts of three feet or more. On the playing greens there is another nasty that we hackers need to understand, the ring that forms around the cup, it is raised because of all the feet that step therre , only way to ovrcome this is hit it square, or it will roll away Hope this helps folks, Hit'em long

large muscles (sholders) are consistant, wrists are sparatic, no one can use wrists and be acurate and have feel all the time, that is what is needed to be good, also I recommend you when practicing part of the time tape a flat stick at a flat angle to the front blade, it lets you practice keeping the blade flat during the putt, otherwise, you will scrub the ground on one side or another throwing the ball to one side, you wont feel it, but at 10 feet it is as much as 4 inches off , hope this helps

Places like Carnoustie and Sawgrass is built for scratch or better players, if you are even a 80s players you have no business on these courses, if invited, bring several boxes of balls, as the rough is unplayable for lower level players (If you can find it) and such as the bunkers cant be gotten out of by except an accomplished player.
Public courses are for low to hi handicap players , in the interest of having a fun game play there or on a country club setting.
There is one that is designed for all players, called Ritz Carlton, they have courses for both hi and low handicap, but be prepared to pay a lot hahahhaha however you will absolutely love it, ya get what you pay for there , caddies are available that will even polish the clubs for you before and after the game, you will think you are on a super vacation each time you play, hitem long
( Ritz Carlton courses are all over the US, many are used for PGA Tournaments )

likely a better course, most lower level courses wont allow many balls on the putting green, but the admin dont understand , better players want to practice, if no facilities, they go else where, taking many players with them, its sad as i have played the bettr courses, and what is thought of as lessers courses, some are real gems, shame the admin cant understand that
