Hi Mira Bilis, thanks for the links. I've tracked down Les Revenants. It looks good and I was interested to see it was filmed in Annecy. Not many years ago I spent a lovely holiday at Annecy in the Hotel Riant Port. I'd been ill and, despite being busy, they cooked special meals for me. I'll never forget their kindness.

I've found out that Spiral was shown on BBC 4 but haven't managed to locate it yet. I DO love French progs and films and Spiral sounds interesting. I'll find it eventually.

PS:  Did you also see the French cop series "Spiral" (aka "Engrenages") ... ? Also excellent.

No!!!! I've never heard of it but I'll be chasing it down tomorrow. It's coming up to 1am so I'm off to bed as I have things to do, places to go, in the morning..... in the frost and strong winds!
