Helen Boo ..... I hope it's not as bad as forecast. It's 49F here .... and that's after it's cooled down. One thing ....... there's a lovely full moon for you tonight. I can see it from my window.

Helen .... be careful what you wish for!! Where I live, on the edge of Dartmoor, the wind often whistles round. We had winds of that speed and more last week but happily I'm not too close to any trees. We once had 15 parasol pines quite close to our home and that was awful. The weight of the cones is bad enough when they land on the car but the creaking of the trees in high wind is just too scary.
I love this cam. There always seems to be something going on ... even in the middle of the night. :D

Hi there, Mommie. It was pretty scary here last night. Everyone hunkered down on the first floor ( big trees all around us) but we were fortunate once again and never lost power. My niece is in town from Calif to see colleges with her daughter. Both were bemoaning the lack of rain there and saying they miss hearing thunder etc. LOL! They got quite a show last night!

80 degrees here 2 days ago. 35 degrees right now. 60 mph wind gusts last night + this a.m. Mother Nature is starting to calm down now. Thousands with no power.

Hi Mommie, we were pretty fortunate this winter, so I shouldn't complain. Hopefully, this will be winter's last hurrah.
Hi Helen .... slushy snow is the worst. Spring should be coming soooon.
It's a very heavy, slushy snow. Hard on the back for shoveling. Looking forward to spring!
Stay safe, Helen and Trix. It looks like a nasty one http://weather.com/storms/winter/news/winter-storm-stella-northeast-blizzard-warning-noreaster-snow-forecast-march-2017
