That's the sort of snow we had earlier ..... fine but persistent. Much larger flakes now and the hills are starting to change colour ........ I think it's sticking.
I know exactly what you mean about a cosy armchair. Mine is huge and so comfortable. Laptop on a small table in front of me ..... tv remote on my right ..... next to cordless mouse. Home is definitely the best place to be on a day like this. Temperature is going to really drop tonight and we have snow forecast again for tomorrow.
Heavy earlier this morning, but just feathery flakes. Nothing on the ground..had the burner on all afternoon, reading on the sofa,. It's a Knowle, high back and sides which are lowered with a big tasseled cord. No draughts, which is why they designed them like that. Much as I love being away, there's nothing like home on a cold day!
It's good to have that extra bit of money. And even better to have a pool!!!!! :D
It's been snowing here since 1pm but not sticking. It's coming from your direction so I hope its not sticking in Somerset.
I do have a friend there, but will be going with my bestie...got an air b n b. Martina needs a break, and I'm always up for a change of scene. It's got a pool. Got my OAP now...wrinklydom haaa!
Hi feral ..... I haven't been to Newquay for years ...... lovely to watch the surfers there.
I so agree with you about counting your blessings. You have to make the best of what you've got. Moaning only makes you feel worse.
I'd love to see you waving from the Oviso bar. I went to Spain in January but got that horrible flu that was going round. I never managed to get to Barcelona ........ I was 46 miles away. Do you have friends in Portugal?
ie...I may be going to Barselona some time this year!
Hi MD..hope this finds you well. Just got back from 6 days in Cornwall. Scattered my Bro and big Sis at Godvenny (spelling?) ,point near Hayle. Then went for a bimbling trip back. Stayed in Newquay and did some fine coastal walking! Life has been challenging, but hey, I have a roof over my head, live in a fine area, friends, enought to live on and I am not in a war zone...whats to complain about there eh?! Going to Portugal the end of May for a week...who knows I could end up waving at you in the Orviso haaa! Wot you up to? Big luvs Feral xx
Hi feral ....... where have you been ......... Morocco? Or somewhere more exotic ....... like Somerset? I hope you are well. :D
Sooo beautiful! I only realised how tall the trees were when a tiny figure crossed the snow...amazing! Hi y' all!xx
They've made a very neat job of it.
It looks like they are setting up for their graduation day ceremony. They have a nice day for it.
Mira ..... you know it doesn't take much to confuse me. LOL
I meant the current BBC costume drama ... lots of snowy landscapes with stately looking buildings ... sorry for the confusion MD, lol.
Erm ........ why? I once had a copy of War and Peace. It came to me by default from a book club. It must have weighed about 3lb and I never read it. :D
This looks more like a scene from War & Peace than Nevada at the moment.
