I love the smell when rain falls after a long period of time. It seems to wake up the ground. Sounds like you can do with a good downpour.

Yes MD ... no "proper" rain (consistent/prolonged periods) for over a month now.  :/

Indeed. It's set fair all across the NW at the moment ... today's high is meant to be in the mid 80's where I am.  I just want it to rain!
