elmo Opentopia doesn't allow us to change the coordinates on these cams. I changed the town but as long as that's Mt Fuji we are looking at, I won't change that.

The information is correct. Here is the exact location: 35.162481, 138.667994
In Japan, streets usually don't have names, except main streets or avenues. The houses (or buildings) go by number (e.g. 177-1). Hinodech? is the town (ch? - ? - means town, but it's equivalent to a district or county of a big city). Fuji-shi (shi - ? - means city). Shizuoka-ken (ken - ? - means prefecture = state). The number at the end is the zip code.
I lived in Japan for a couple of years, in Yamanashi-ken (Kofu-shi) which is also near Mt. Fuji.

Sorry about the repeat!
I meant to say this cam will be my second seat to watch.
Interesting article but I found the oodles of comments even more entertaining. Thanks Debbie.

Mount Fiji. Definitely worth bookmarking as this beautiful and historically vibrant volcano has the potential to erupt by 2015. When she does, you will have a front row seat!
Beautiful.
