Yes... we feasted our eyes! When we lived at St Raphael they were always having firework displays along the coast. I don't think they have the restrictions with purchasing fireworks that we have in the UK.

Did you see the Paris New Year's Eve fireworks? Spectacular.

Mira.... the only months I've not been to Paris are July and August and that's because the French take their holidays then. I love the place. I was there when it was the 200th anniversary of the Eiffel tower and have photos of the tower with 200 in lights from top to bottom of the tower. There used to be a restaurant in an old coach from the Orient Express. It was called Wagon Sept and the interior was just as you see in the Murder on the Orient Express films. And now I have to go visit!!! :)

Still working at the beach.
MD ... Paris any time is great ... so much to see and absorb. :)

Mira.... I love Paris in the spring time! A holiday in France will do me nicely.

Are you thinking of taking a trip MD?

Mira, a few minutes ago I was looking for hotel accommodation at Saint Malo but I didn't look at The Grand Hotel des Thermes!

Tides in and up today and waves are wild.....
People wearing coates already...
A lovely evening.
It's a lovely place. I've often come here on the overnight ferry.
I see an earlier comment of mine which is incorrect. Should say 100 years. The tower hasn't been around for 200 years. Oops.
A broader view on their direct link http://webcam.st-malo.com/view/view.shtml?id=52900&imagepath=%2Fmjpg%2Fvideo.mjpg%3Fcamera%3D1&size=1 This looks like a nice place.
This view always looks like a watercolour painting during the day.
And now it's gone.
I could do without the cement truck. ;)
An improvement on the work site. :)
I see the camera angle has changed.
I was reading about it an hour or so ago..... it really is shocking.
Wow ... shocking news out of Paris today. :( http://www.france24.com/en/
