Yes I am using an OS newer than 2002, My main computer runs windows 10 and the screen resolution is at 1024X768 at 85HZ. I used to use an lcd monitor with my 1st computer (win 98) but now I use a CRT on my newer computer, kind of ironic! :)

Flatscreen monitors are more economical to run and more environmentally friendly, plus they have a higher screen resolution. I trust your operating system is newer than 2002, though.

Those computer monitors are bigger than my television! And they are flatscreen too, while the same computer monitor has been on my desk since 2002. Just can't talk my self into getting a flatscreen monitor!
