I have to agree with him on that. However ..... I don't let it spoil my days. Growing old is no fun at all but it does have some perks. I'm grateful for my free meds and bus travel.

They've never divorced. They have 4 kids and they've acted as go-betweens. He lived with another woman until a couple of years ago when she left him all on his own. I guess he thought she'd jump at the chance to look after him. I can't remember the last time I had egg noodles.
