Then I think she was very silly not to give you something for your blood pressure ..... but what do I know... I'm not a doctor. LOL When I go to the surgery I'm able to see the computer monitor. Nobody seems to mind me reading it. I've not come across any nasty remarks ..... ...

I did tell her that my ears have been ringing for a couple of years and that I thought it was due to my blood pressure...I got the impression that "I'm not a doctor so how would I know"...they also made a point of taking my records with them whenever they left the room!!!

Did you tell her you'd had suspicions about your blood pressure for a while? If not .... she probably thinks the "spike" is caused by your bereavement. She's perhaps hoping the anti-depressants will make you feel less stressed ... therefore lowering your BP. I can't see that work...

she told me to take 1 half of a pill for the first 4 or 5 days because it might give me tummy aches!!

I did show her my pinky and how it refuses to stand up straight (and now my ring finger is acting up) but she was more concerned with all the numbers...I got the impression she figured I was "on the way out" and wanted to make me comfortable :)

MD....she was going to give me something for the blood pressure but totally forgot...I'll mention it when they call about the cholesterol numbers. I checked again...the hibiscus in the bags is 1.26 g...so 3 bags should do it!! so I started the stupid anti-depressants last night.....
