trix I take that back, I just googled it and see that if you have W8.1 or W10 then you can remove internet explorer because it is a stand alone browser on both those os's.

then the person who wrote that info on that website doesn't have a clue what he's talking about, unless he was explaining how to get rid of internet explorer by installing a linux operating system on your pc and getting rid of your W7 operating system.

trix internet explorer is just a browser but it's a browser that's built into your operating system so it can't be deleted.

okay...just deleted Quicktime and the Windows 10 that they snuck into my pc!!!! but I thought "internet explorer" was just a browser!!!

trix Quicktime is a security risk so best to get rid of it. You can't get rid of Internet Explorer because it's built into your operating system and it's used for downloading all windows updates. Just don't use it.

good morning MD!! I'm still waiting for the sun to come out!!! I've been checking out things online as to what I can safely delete on my computer so it works faster!! norton came up as a space hog but I get 98% protection vs 73% for the next best freeby!! I'll keep norton for now...
