Funny you should say that ........ he left on Father's Day 1979. I wrapped him a knife, fork and spoon in a dish cloth as a going away gift.  LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!

They were in Tenerife. I think if it had happened in the UK son probably would have reported him. It was about 13 years ago so it's all over and done with.

There was worse to come. Son and his wife went on holiday at the same holiday resort as his dad. They met up at the hotel his dad was staying at and joined in a quiz. As they sat there with the question sheet .... .son said the answer to one of the questions out loud. His dad sma...

When BJ married and moved into her own place ... a mutual friend of her dad approached her and said her dad would love to see her. BJ said ok and they met in a local pub. BJ said his first words were "I bet your mom doesn't know you're here." Of course I knew she was going to see...

That was exactly how it was for me ..... he would bring toys and stuff for them while I was having difficulty keeping a roof over their heads. Sounds like daughter is unfortunate with her choice of men. There should be lessons in school about it! LOL

I think it was a 1 sided love affair....I don't think he ever loved her...he needed a place to stay and she was at grammies house, so he took full advantage of it....he never worked or helped with the bills but he did do damage to the house!!!!

I do, MD!!!  but g-daughters dad says we are the bad ones, unable to face the reality of our daughters problems...he seems to forget that his daughter is the sweet, polite, mannered girl she is because of our family and her mom!!!!!!
