HAHAHAHAHA.....but I would never visit him!!!!!!!

Indeed it would be money well spent. I'd be painting such a rosy picture of life in a home ..... promising visits every day and twice on Sunday...... and promising to sneak in booze and his favourite food ..... ANYTHING!!!!!!!!!   LOL

LOL....call it "money well spent"!!!!
MD · Mar 29, 2016 15:02
LOL!!!!!  Would you have to pay to do that? If so .... where does he think the money would come from? If you tell me you don't need to pay ..... what is he still doing there?   LOL!!!!

LOL....he always says we will probably put him in a nursing home when he gets old...hell....I say..."why wait"!!!!!...LOL

It definitely got better for me for the very same reason. Then I just went one step further and distanced myself. You have to do what's best for yourself. And you know he'd never cope on his own. LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

life is nicer now...not a care (for him) in the world :)
MD · Mar 29, 2016 14:23
How can you care?  He doesn't make it easy. And even if he did .... you couldn't care now ..... too much water under the bridge.
trix abound · Mar 29, 2016 14:11
LOL....and he wonders why I don't care anymore!!!!!!!

Sadly .... drunks seem to say what they really think .... unless they say things that they know will hurt the most. I don't know which is worse. http://susandennis.livejournal.com/ http://video.nest.com/live/susandennis

I was always amazed at the things he said to someone he supposedly loved!!!  even I had my limits!!!
MD · Mar 29, 2016 13:41
Bared, gritted teeth and awful glaring/staring eyes. Some drunks are funny but most seem plain nasty. Wine and whisky are my hubby's tipples ..... neither do him any good.
trix abound · Mar 29, 2016 13:32
PS....and he always thought he was quite desirable when he was drunk!!!!
trix abound · Mar 29, 2016 13:31
God...I hate drunks....he used to get right in my face as if I couldn't hear him or something!!!!

I'm a "dates" person. It irritates me but that's the way it goes. Still ..... it means I have plenty of dates to celebrate. LOL Words can hurt as much as weapons. Hubby used to say things when he was drunk and not remember what he'd said next day. Then he'd wonder why I wasn't pa...
trix abound · Mar 29, 2016 13:08
I don't remember the dates....it's the words I remember...his words were like a kick in the stomach so many times!!!
MD · Mar 29, 2016 12:57
I can think of nothing worse than dementia.
MD · Mar 29, 2016 12:55
I can remember dates of incidents so clearly ..... my first hubby finally cleared off in 1979 and I can still remember so many things he did. And don't get me started on second hubby.   LOL!!!!!
trix abound · Mar 29, 2016 12:52
sometimes I think dementia would be a blessing!!! but I would hate to forget my kids and the good times we have!
trix abound · Mar 29, 2016 12:48
hubby used to gripe because I remembered things he did from years ago...I think I remember them so well because you don't expect your hubby to do or say things like that to you!!
