My hometown has changed in many ways from my growing up days.   I have family there but I moved away over 15 years ago.  Just spoke with my sister.  They are expecting a blizzard this weekend.  Up to 2 feet of snow.   I don't miss winter at all.

I used to love the smell of home-baking. I agree with you about the kids helping to eat the goodies. I expect you had a job keeping up with your brood!  When I was a youngster and my parents were at work ... a lovely lady used to look after me. She had 3 children so with me there...

Same here. I also used to bake my own bread  ..... but we ate it as soon as it came out of the oven. I did lots of baking when I didn't have much money. So much cheaper to do your own. Obviously ..... now ... I have more money than sense!!!!  LOL

i used to bake all the time when the kids were younger, but now it seems i barely cook a meal anymore!!

Trix ...... will that be 4 brownies you'll be having .... 2 each?  LOL I'm not a great fan of BBQ sauce but I eat it if BJ has got it at a bargain price! I would never choose it .... not even BBQ flavour potato chips.
