Computers are the things that give me the most trouble!!! I did an 8 week course before I bought my laptop and I don't think the tutor had ever been asked so many questions. It's easy to bluff your way through most things but I can't seem to bluff my way through that darned thin...

hi MD...i agree to a point...i have never had a problem saying that i don't understand something but, maybe in the work force with computers it may work as it did for Susan!!!

Hi Trix .... I'm afraid I can't agree with Susan on one thing. I never pretend to understand if I don't! It seems pretty pointless and if people think you know .... then they won't explain for you. And as you know .... I need plenty of explanations!

Mira we all have a year to get our free copy of W10, after that it's suppose to be $100. The thing is that if the W7 backup program quits working on W10, along with the dvd burner then I'll be paying over $100 for W10 compatible replacement programs for both those things. Also W7...

NQ, I had no problems with the W10 upgrade at all ... it took about an hour and everything works fine. Would you have to pay for W10 if you did decide to upgrade from W7 now? I know mine was free because I reserved an upgrade before the release date.

Mira is it pretty much the same as W8 in looks, with the tiles and minimum start menu ? I don't plan on taking the W10 update as of right now because it doesn't have a built in dvd burner or a backup os program and from what I've read it also doesn't have Windows Media player. I ...

Thanks NF for the update info. I noticed that the old green loading circle has changed to blue with this update. Mira did you go from W7 to W10 and if so did you install over W7 or do a clean installation ?

Hi NF ... yup ... mine came back after the update with a bright blue welcome screen telling me how well Firefox and Windows 10 work together, lol. ;)
