NQ .... I suppose it's asking a lot of seeds to thrive in the shadows of a wood. Plants that are naturally there seem to do ok but not interlopers. How did that nest get on in/on the light fitting?

nope MD they didn't do well--I think the squirrels and birds ate them :( We have had so much rain this summer if they were going to come up, they should have. On the otherhand the woods is green and lush this summer so I have a nice view even without the flowers.

Hi NQ .... very silly of them ... and if they get into difficulties they risk other people having to rescue them. I was thinking about you this morning. Looking at old comments - I came across one where you mentioned planting seeds in the woods near your home. Did they do well?
