MD....computers hooked up with a landline phone make a squealing noise when you first go online...i know ours did until we got cable...now we have WiFi!!

We used to have a landline here but got so many annoying telemarketing calls that we got rid of it. We never get nuisance calls with the MagicJack and it's a lot cheaper. The only useful thing about the landline was it didn't die if the power went out. :)

My cell phone is an extension of my hand!!! I never go anywhere without it. It's my note pad, calendar .... it warns me when to take my meds. I play sudoku on it. I have notes in the drafts section that go back to 1999. I only had a landline so that I could go online. I never us...
