HAHAHAHAHA.....MD......they charge us for everything now....the wires on the poles, the boxes for cableTV and the box for WiFi and now they charge us when their boxes fail and they have to do a repair...we customers have lost our clout!!!!!!

WHOA THERE HONEY.....i pay up the ying-yang for my internet....cable TV, phone and internet combined bill is $195.00 a month!!!!!! but i can call anywhere i want with the phone with no extra charge!!

Trix .... maybe it's not WiFi ... maybe I should have said wireless connection. All I know is that I can take my laptop out into the garden and get internet connection without any wire connecting my laptop to anything. Surely that's WiFi?

Presumably because MD's modem/router is connected via phone cord to a wall phone jack. Our modem incorporates the wifi router and is also connected this way.

Historically, most people tend to have landline jacks in their walls but now have wifi as well. Have you not got any old landline phone jacks in your house Trix? We still have them here even though we no longer use them for phones.
