Trix.. I just noticed your comment about the no-kill shelter. We have those here but they rely on charity. Always seems wicked to put down a healthy animal. It's the former owners who want sorting out! I'm glad you are keeping your eye on Brevard's resume. :)

MB, yes I've been in AK for more than 30 yeras now. Worked for most of that time but am retired twice now enjoying all Alaska can offer. I do enjoy getting away in the winters for a few weeks though!

Trix.... I saw a comment from you a while ago and you said something like you were just stopping to take your foot out of your mouth! As for a couple... to us it means TWO. To my hubby it meant a handful if it was biscuits! Or drinks!!!

MD...the funny thing is that when he first started going to the doctor the doctor would ask "do you drink?...how much?" and damn if hubby didn't say "a couple a day" which in reality it was a couple of 6-packs a day!!!!! foot-in-mouth? yah...i suffer from that too!!!! LOL
