Dona, it was lovely. Then my dad kept being ill and it was more than 1,000 miles each way to visit him. So I came back to the UK. Not much later my dad died but it was worth it to me to have "come home." I'd recommend living in France to anyone. Beautiful place and lovely people...

I always think of The Onedin Line. My parents had a radio very like that, when I was a youngster. I used to spend ages going through the different radio stations. I loved listening to the foreign ones even though I hadn't a clue what they were on about! And of course, radio Luxem...
