And now it's very busy. I suppose I could have said "ferry" busy but that would be silly!  :D

It reminds me a little of the MV Coho ferry which we take to go across to Victoria.

Good work MD and Mira for finding it. This ship is nothing like our ferries so I would never of thought of it as a ferry but then our ferries only go across small rivers instead of large open expanses of water.

MD yes it is pretty much like a mini opentopia but without the chat board connected to the webcams. His filmkino website sells dvds of movies and tv shows. It could be that he works nights filling his dvd orders and depending on how you interpet this statement on his ipcams web...

That's cool Lunawolf.  Travel definitely broadens the mind, especially beyond your own borders.  :-)

It's marked on Google Maps as some kind of museum... the ship is called Hakkodamaru. There are also lots of photos on Google Maps.  :-)

well that boat definitely stands out so finding it would be easy. Besides possibly being a hotel it could also be a party boat for weddings or whatever. We have a large ferry boat park on one of our docks that basically hosts parties on it.

Here's some info on ipcams http://en.ipcams.ch/WebCam.aspx?nr=1449 and on that website you'll see the papers taped on the back of his pc which I can't read completely but besides listing ipcams it also lists http://filmkino.ch as one of his websites.

That banana coloured boat is always there. I wondered if it was a floating hotel or something so I looked at Wikipedia. It's MUTSU Bay, not Mustu. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mutsu_Bay

Mira most companies still use websites mainly, they just use facebook to spread the info about their websites. I have a nephew and a brother in law who design websites for companies or in my bil's case he designs for banks. Because I use adblock plus to get rid of ads I'm not s...

MD you're right about it just being listings of webcams but I'm pretty sure when I saw that paper listing the ipcams website, the paper had his name on it. I basically thought that he was the designer and webmaster of ipcams but I might be wrong--I better go do some google searc...

Mira Bilis · Apr 21, 2014 22:15
Yeah, I think you're right .... although website design is a dying profession these days, now that many people are turning to Facebook instead.
