If you use a Mac or iOS device, you can literally copy the text from the picture (in still picture mode) like you would text, makes life very easy sometimes :)

I don't know what building this is, but it's pretty cool looking.

I did see the text on top but couldn't figure out how to copy and translate it, though maybe if I had taken a screenshot of it, google might have translated it. Thanks for identifying it.

The Japanese text in the top right helped us out on this one!

This one has the look of an hospital but I'm not coming up with one that has this view.

Opentopia, I think this might be another China webcam, 3 of my ip locators weren't able to come back with anything, instead they all sat there trying to load, I couldn't even stop the loading, I had to close each tab.

Homely so far I've seen quite a few new town squares which I assume will be decorated for christmas, so this year might really feel like christmas :)

Coming just at the right time - having only about four tree cams in 2025 was pretty depressing!

It was a super popular camera back in the day, and we went nuts trying to figure out what/where it was! I don't see you in the comments, but here's the link to our old adventures: https://www.opentopia.com/webcam/6680

I don't remember viewing this one before but it definitely was an easy one to find the name of, those are very distinct pyramids.

Thanks for the tip, I'm pretty sure one of my ip locators also has a traceroute tool on it. That should come in handy for the US cams that I'm having problems with, I'll do a traceroute before taking the ip to other locators.

NQ another little trick is to perform a “traceroute” on the ip address. Search Google for “traceroute online” and you might find a few web versions of the tool - oftentimes before the trace gets to its destination you can see which country is the nearest “hop” by its extension, (...

opentopia thanks for the info, I was really confused on how I could be so off with the country ! I'm finding that here in the US, that some of the ip# are coming back to the main head quarters of the isp server on some of the locators so I'm finding I need to check all 7 locator...

NQ I think we might both be wrong - in the top left is some Chinese text which translates to the town of Jingqiao in China. I think it’s one of those very high gain cameras which can basically see in the dark judging by how bright the street lights are. The time stamp correlates ...
