I think court appointed lawyers only get $250.00 to $300.00. I thought a bond was something I could get from the court, but I have to go to an insurance agency.
Somebody pays him but I know what you mean ..... he's getting nothing out of hubby. I hope you don't have to pay out too much. So that's another thing you've got to arrange.
So maybe hubby's lawyer really was being helpful. Maybe he knows she will get it done speedily ..... then he can get his money. Lawyers are never poor. :D
I could be wrong but he has your hubby's best interests in mind .... not yours. Maybe I'm just reading too much into it. Can you Google and find out anything about the lawyer he's suggested? If only Homely was available for advice.
I hate to say it but is hubby's lawyer pointing you to a lawyer he knows? A lawyer who might be working hand in glove with him? Would your city daughter know of a lawyer?
