The two Embry-Riddle cams are amazingly clear!
I just read an article about this fire and it mentioned that a lot of it is scrub that hasn't been burned for 40 or 50 years. In France they have laws which say scrub must be cleared by landowners. They still get forest fires but not as bad.
It must be this one http://www.abc15.com/news/region-northern-az/prescott/fast-facts-goodwin-fire-burning-near-prescott
A wildfire in the distance?
Oh my gosh! That's awful.
Stay cool everyone http://www.cnn.com/2017/06/20/us/weather-west-heat-wave/index.html
WOW!! Nice one Rain Shadow.
Their construction camera is also interesting http://constructioncam1.pr.erau.edu/view/view.shtml?id=333&imagepath=%2Fmjpg%2Fvideo.mjpg&size=1
Oh Mommie Dearest, the peerless rose of Devon; thank you for your encouraging reply and your solicitude...
Thank you for the link Rain Shadow...I have it open in another browser while simultaneously watching this one....I very much appreciate it, good man!
Morning Sunrise .... I knew you would take it as it was meant ... a joke. And take no notice of people telling you to shut up. Your point of view is as valuable as their's. :D
Not a problem, Morning Sunrise. We all have to go where we feel most happy and comfortable. Did you also take note of the other Embry-Riddle camera? http://www.opentopia.com/webcam/11972
Also, thank you Rain Shadow for your comment. Although, I need to confess my inexcusable hipocracy. I had actually lived in Canada for most of my life and moved down here to Southern California 1996. So yes, Rain Shadow my friend, I am indeed a former smowbird myself.
Right on, Mommie Dearest! Sometimes I need to be told to shut, but coming from you that is perfectly O.K...
Rain Shadow .... I agree. I came back from south of France partly because I was fed up of too much sunshine. I have to admit there are days I miss it but not very often.
You are welcome, and not to worry Morning Sunrise, some of us lesser mortals actually find the idea of 365 days of sunshine a year somewhat dull. Four separate seasons a year sounds much more interesting.
