Hahahahahaha!!!!! These little villages do echo. :D
Every time I see this cam I think of Steve McQueen ...... The Great Escape was filmed in Bavaria.
N Q...... from the comments I've obviously been looking in on this one for 18 months. It's really beautiful all year round.
This is pretty MD.
I don't think I've seen this cam before.
Mira, I'd love to go to Venice and Scandinavia, Venice for the architecture and Scandinavia for its natural beauty.
Venice is still on my bucket list ... although I suspect that's where it will stay, gathering dust. ;) We're more likely to take a trip to Scandinavia before we die ... also a region with wonderful architecture, as we've witnessed. :)
As well, I think lots of places in Europe are so much older than in America. For example, Notre Dame in Paris opened in 1345 and still looks the same today. I wonder how many people over the years have stood and gazed at it. I love ancient architecture and there's such a lot of it in Continental Europe.
And yes, there is natural beauty everywhere. The world is an amazing place.
That's probably true for most people Carol ... but I think that's very healthy ... it helps us be more aware of the world around us, and less insulated. :)
That is true. I guess I appreciate the beauty more there cuz I am not used to it. I guess I take for granted the beauty here cuz I am always around it.
There's natural beauty everywhere. :)
You are so lucky to live where u can get to places like this easily. America is beautiful but nothing like overseas. The architecture and natural beauty is overwhelming.
Carol, I've been to Bavaria. It is beautiful.
This looks like such a beautiful place to live.
Bavaria is where they filmed the Steve McQueen film, The Great Escape. Not a lot of people know that. Oops, sorry, Michael Caine wasn't in it!
I think it's beautiful and would love to walk through these streets one day.
