Oh WOW, this view is amazing!!

Mira Bilis.. back in the 80's when we were looking for a property, we used to stay at a chambre d'hote at Elne. It was newly started and the couple, Chantal and Louis, didn't speak much English. Some times we were the only guests. You eat whatever they are having for their meal... no menu. I'm pleased to see they are still there.

The coast road takes forever to drive because it winds round so much. We used to take the main road through Le Boulou to nip into Spain for cheap shopping as Spanish tax is less than French. It's a beautiful area.

I didn't realise this hotel and town were so close to the Spanish border until I looked on the map.

Elmo........well done!!!!!!!!  I uses to live about an hour's drive away from here. It's not far from a place called Elne where I've spent several happy holidays and weekends.

Good evening MD and Mira Bilis, here is the information of the webcam: Hôtel Les Elmes webcam.  Plage Des Elmes, Banyuls-sur-Mer.  The exact location is: 42.486984, 3.127146

The street view on Google Maps is from 2010, so it looks a little different, but if you go to the Hotel website, they have a direct link to the webcam.

This is a very nice place.  I will have to put it on my list of places to visit in the future.

MD, did you see that Elmo came back last night and edited that cam in France? Unfortunately I can't find it today and can't remember where it was!! :{  It must have vanished off the OT scanner again for now.

Elmo ... we need your input on this cam please!!  :D  This one is proving to be tricky so far.  I temporarily edited the info to make it more generic, until we can obtain the correct details.  :)

One thing's for sure MD, it's not Montfermeil, as that's inland near Paris.  The IP info says Aubervilliers which is also near Paris, so that's not it either.

Trix, you're right about that ... I remember this cam once having an IP in St Petersberg, Russia.  :)
