Jimmy, I was at my daughter's and I never get to bed before 4am. The living room kept being lit up and it was quite windy but very little rain. We are expecting possible storms tomorrow.

I was watching it from 11pm till around 2:30am when it went into the distance like you say the lightning was spectacular I was just logging in to watch late trains when I spotted the storm.
