Those spiders will get you every time. There you are calmly watching and enjoying a scene and ZAP, a great hairy spider blocks the view. I won't watch this in the daylight now, just in case.

It is a bit sad but they are probably there for a good reason. They may be strays or pets of people who have gone on holiday. There are quite a few like this but also lots of happier looking places like this one: http://www.opentopia.com/webcam/14361

There is a steep curving road to the bottom of the cliff called the Khyber Pass which leads to the Harbour where the second Whitby camera is.

I like this one. It reminds me of when I lived in Canada, and saw my first amphibious car that just drove straight into the water - an awesome moment, I still remember 50 years or so later.
