This volcano erupted in a big way this time last year. Nowadays we see light activity. The Google map is way off. Shinmoedake volcano in Kirishima is way down south in Kagoshima.

Wayne,,,oh, hahaha I did check the reload speed for the cam when I was looking at what ever was in the clouds over the mountain, it occured to me as well that something was amiss, very easy to do , miss the cam refreash rate Amusing , and I have made that error before

I truly hope the flashes of bright light on the clouds is simply sun shine, but, it doesnt look good since the other cam showed lava flow
