Very odd. Hubby's hard work paid off. He's never had to work again. To fill his time he volunteered to work on the canals and now has his licence to "drive" barges. He goes all over the place and obviously enjoys it. I think he also has TiVo ..... but only one!   LOL

Heeeeeeee.  That is a perfect description of her.  She is nasty for the sake of being nasty.

Well ...... I always thought your hubby and mine were brothers but here they differ. My hubby would have worked every hour if he could. He worked 3 different shifts ...... sometimes he finished at 10pm and was back at work at 6am next day. He had to work weekends and would actually volunteer to work holiday weekends because he got double pay. He had a pension scheme that took all of this into consideration and that was partly why he was able to retire at 55. All that money in his pockets but such short arms.  LOL!!!!!!

MD....you can read that description and honestly think that Susan is describing herself!!!!!

MD....when hubby was paid by the hour, he would never work overtime....when he became supervisor and was paid a flat rate per week, he always worked overtime...I could never figure him out!!!!

sons wife is working a 73 hour shift this week-end....I give her praise!!!!!

Maybe the worry of "not enough love" is what turned Susan into a selfish witch. Her dad died in 1999 and only after that did she start to spend Thanksgiving with her mom. I make that 6 visits. So .... all that moaning and she saw her mom for just 6 x 4 or 5 days.  All that "3,000 miles/ 3time zones/ thankyoujesus" for about 30 days in 6 years. How selfish and mean.

About g-daughter .... it just shows what goes on in their little minds. When I had my son - BJ was only 15 months old. I have photos of her with the new baby in her doll's pram. She was quite happy to have a "living doll."  LOL

One engine that sticks in my mind is when I saw Eddie Irvine's car parked outside my bank in St Tropez. He was driving a Ferrari in Formula 1 at the time and his car was a racing-green Ferrari with a glass hood so you could see the engine. Now that really was worth seeing.

I could never figure out what the big deal was with engines....you've seen 1, you've seen them all!!!!!!!

son says his daughter asked him if they "had enough love" for her and another baby!!!   he assured her that they have lots of love to go around!!!!!

She's still having eye problems because she knows better than the experts...... what do they know?!!!

I used to go to car shows ..... I'm not sure I could find the enthusiasm for just engines.

my Swedish grandfather loved "pickled pigs feet".....oh my God....not for me....I don't like anything pickled!!!  I do remember that he had red (auburn) hair always, even in his elder years!!!

my son will be coming this morning...he and hubby are going to an "engine show"...boring!!!!!!
