MD11/30/14 23:36
Yup.... all good in the 'hood! :))
Mira Bilis11/30/14 22:30
To quote a well worn phrase ... "It's all good." :)
MD11/30/14 22:24
Mira... some of my friends and relatives thought I was crazy to leave a well off, dependable chap but I have no regrets. Some people are meant to be on their own.... it just took me a long time to discover that I was one of those people. My hubby has replaced me with 3 cats... make what you will of that!! :))
Mira Bilis11/30/14 21:51
In truth, these days I suspect most people would envy your lifestyle more than mine, MD. :D
MD11/30/14 21:34
Mira..... same here.... but after 19 years I decided it wasn't for me. I'm very happy for you but not envious. My hubby still visits, bringing gifts, takes me out.... and shopping. I enjoy his company but in small doses. I think he still holds a bit of hope but it will never happen. He wouldn't put up with me staying up until 4am and now I've tasted my freedom I'm not giving it up. This last 5 years is the first time I've lived on my own and I absolutely love it. :))
Mira Bilis11/30/14 20:45
LOL Trix and MD!! :D That's the nice thing about re-marriage in later life ... we adapted to eachother's established habits and found common ground that we could both be comfortable with. :)
trix abound11/30/14 19:25
OMG MD....soooo true!!!!!!
MD11/30/14 19:23

trix abound11/30/14 18:56
HAHAHAHAHA......maybe she understands the language of "grunt"....sorry!!! sounds like you did hit the jackpot Mira :D
MD11/30/14 18:27
Mira.... you are so lucky you have a husband you can ask questions of..... and even luckier to have one that replies. Getting a correct answer really means you've hit the jackpot!!!! :))
Mira Bilis11/30/14 17:41
Hubby is a Franciscan and also has a masters in theology ... so I just asked him if there was something significant about today. ;)
MD11/30/14 17:22
Solved....... next! :D
Mira Bilis11/30/14 17:15
Yes ... the church sounds like the best explanation ... it's the first day of Advent in the church calendar, so they probably had a special service.
MD11/30/14 17:08
The street opposite is full too. Maybe something going on at the church.... Also, lots of people walking about.
