Mira Bilis, that's fascinating. I'd be putting my hand on him and thinking of all the people who'd probably done the same thing over the years.

Not too much info Trader.  Hubby purchased him in 2008. He has a red wax "chop" seal from the Chinese Department of Antiquities which certifies that he is pre-Chinese Revolution (1949) and was at least 100 years old at that time.  Plus the "chop" also denotes that he was exported legally.  :)

Mira I have a corner in my home where he would sit VERY comfortably if you want to ship him over on loan :) I get so much good karlma just from your pic. Any history about him?

Trader, he's an antique from China so hopefully he has many years of accumulated wisdom behind him.  :)
