And  fancy wanting to be an orphan when she was a child. That sister-in-law (who Susan called Trey or Tres - depending on her mood) sounds like a wonderful person. She was willing to go and stay with Susan's mom any time she was needed - which was more than Susan was prepared to do.

Maybe she won't mention his death. He was diagnosed in August 2010 .... poor chap wasn't that old .... born in 1949. I bet I know more about him than Susan does. And ...... if she does mention his death .... I wonder if she will show any kindness to her sister.

One thing that puzzled me .... Susan is sorting out things for the will to be dealt with and needed proof of the cremation.  Her mom died on the 17th of March and was obviously mentioned in LJ with lots of sympathetic comments but then nothing .... no mention of the cremation until 30th March when she was after the cremation document. It would seem she didn't send flowers or anything. No mention of a funeral.

PS....I guess we know who the "black sheep" of the family is!!!!!!!!

WOW MD....I'm up to April of 2010...I wonder if she will even mention it in her LJ!!!!  she was just talking about her distaste for her sister-in-law...who stayed with her for about 5 days with her brother...says they had a "great time"....how 2 faced can you be!!!!!

Well ..... I said I'd finished reading but since then I've gone through my notes. No wonder she is/was jealous of her sister. Sister married a good man in 1988 and was with him until the minute he died .... which was just before midnight on December 10th 2010. He was diagnosed with Glioblastoma brain tumor and died surrounded by "the people he loved the most" which was his wife (Susan's sister) and 3 children. By all accounts they had a happy life. He was a teacher and she works as the Student and Family Advocate at the school her husband taught at.  A few years ago they did a teacher exchange and the whole family came to Exeter which is not far from me. He also became a pilot in 2006. Their house was built specially for them and it's in a beautiful area ...... not all that far from Mira. Sister has 3 grown, well educated daughters and a job she enjoys.  Susan has her condo and LJ.

I remember that....he must be just a low life worker so she doesn't have to pay or respect him!!!!

I tell you steam has been coming out of my ears!!!!  LOL

The new dishwasher saga. The man who should fit it didn't turn up ... said nobody asked him to but he could come next day..... it would cost $125.  Susan and Sheri are standing in Susan's condo. Susan tells Sheri she will not have him in her condo again. A chap who is painting her wall says he'll do it right now. Susan "Keeps $100 in the condo for emergencies" and had $80 dollars in her purse. The man fits the dishwasher. Susan gives $140 to Sheri (while the chap is still there) and Sheri says she will "escort him out and settle up with him on the way." Susan says to her LJ pals "I'll find out if she didn't give him all of it and then give him the rest on Monday when he's back to paint my wall." One of her LJ people outright asked "Why did Sheri pay him?" but of course.... Susan didn't reply.  I can't believe how batshit crazy Susan is.

And I've finished reading for the day ..... I can't take any more ..... until tomorrow. LOL

Yikes!!!!!  That's a lot of money.

Mar 15th she rang her sister about going to see her mom on her death bed. "She was so gracious and kind that she made me cry. The Bitch."

May 16th Headline "She's Not Dead Yet." A bit of info on her mom and then ..... "Meanwhile my Treo phone has developed a bit of an issue......" Still on 16th ... her brother rang and said his son wanted to go see his grandma for the last time. She shot him down in flames and hung up........ and thought "you bitch..... ..... what a time to take a power trip."  It seems that everyone in the family has to ask her permission about everything.

On the 17th .... before her mom is dead .... "We have to get everything out of her apartment within 15 days. I'm not sure when the clock starts ... at her death or day she went into hospital."

Her mom died .... and I shed a few tears.  Susan says her parents would have been proud of "the spirit of co-operation that has bubbled up to meet the occasion." Her mood at the end of the day .... the day her mom died ... Cheerful.

Mar 19th .. and elderly cousin says "you know when you were a kid you always used to say you wished you were an orphan - and now you are."

That day - about her sister .."I no longer need to be envious or jealous of anything she says or does."  And once the will is sorted she will never speak to her again.

She has real problems.

LOL MD....do you remember in the beginning she estimated it to cost no more than 12 to 15 thousand dollars...I think the final tally was over 50 thousand!!!!

Part 2. What a strange daughter. But all those "lovely dolls."

I'm getting so grrrrrrrr with her. I know that her mom is only a few days from death. I find myself wincing at some of the things that are said. Hind sight is a wonderful thing. I wonder if Susan regrets things she's said.

She is choosing her kitchen appliances and Sheri has told her they are ok and Sheri has ordered them. Now Susan has changed her mind and Sheri's not too happy. Plus .... the man who did the shelves last time and took sooooooo long to do them - is the man that Sheri has chosen to do the work this time. Sheri selected some appliance and Susan agreed but then Susan's friends on LJ told her the appliance isn't good so Susan is gonna have to tell Sheri she doesn't want that one. Blah blah blah. I just don't see why she needs Sheri .... and she pays her a fortune for this designer caper.

MD....I do remember her saying a few times that she is a terrible driver!!!

Ps .... my mistake .... I read it the English way.  Not that it matters .... it will all be over by then. I bet the home will be glad to get rid of all of those emails and phone calls from Susan. And what about all of those roombas? Can you believe that anyone would have at least 3 faulty ones? I'm guessing they got full and her technology doesn't go as far as emptying them. I remember my dad talking about someone who he said had more money than sense. He said this chap had a new car as soon as the ashtray got full!!

OMG......... I've just said a few things under my breath. In her case .... instead of birth control read multiple abortions.

I'm on 27th Feb 2006 and she's just mentioned her visit in July. I'm pretty sure I've seen her detailed itinerary and I thought it said May. I'm going to have to go back and check.

And the emails telling people to stay away .... her brother eventually replied that he'd already booked his trip for Mother's Day.

She has a car but isn't willing to drive it 30 miles to visit a friend. Why have a car? I think she is scared of driving .... which is why she gets to places at 6am when they don't open until 8.

OMG MD......you gotta read this from Susan...."Or, worse yet, what they are entitled to because they did the dirty, got knocked up, and turned themselves into the automatic victim of single-motherhood. Yeah - I'm a bitch but just image how many societal problems would be solved by birth control?!"

I agree with every word you said. I've got to a part where her mother is very ill ..... I mean .... I know she is going to die but there is still life there ...... and Susan has emailed her brother, sister and sister-in law ... telling them mom is ill - and ordering them not to visit. I truly think she doesn't want them to visit because she can't be bothered to go and doesn't want them showing her up by showing they care. I've obviously not got to the death yet but I'm thinking how will mom feel if not one of them are there at the end. It should be up to brother/sister etc to make up their own minds .... not be dictated to by her.

I hate to say it but she makes me want to use the language she is so fond of. Despicable woman.

LOL....she can't bother to take 2 minutes to slice mushrooms but she will spend 2 to 3 hours trying to make her computer, phone or tivo do what she wants!!!!!  she has totally botched up her money accounts by switching them over during tax time...she never seems to think things through...she says things are so much better done online but she always has to call them for something!!!!!

I leave my cereals in the boxes they come in ..... I agree with you about the washing up. She loses track of time very badly.

She says she watched an episode of Grey's Anatomy and a woman died of COPD ... which her mom suffers with. She said it was very close to home. So it takes a tv prog to bring home the glaringly obvious. I wouldn't say she was lazy but I read this on Feb 5th ...... she had walked to the stores to buy sliced mushrooms:

"No sliced mushrooms - crap, I'll have to do it myself." 

good morning MD! we have been going through hot and cold evenings too...this is the kind of weather that gets people sick!!!

my grocery store has fresh haddock on sale this week for $8.99 per pound so thats what we are having tomorrow!!

I used to have containers to put everything in but decided that with 6 kids in the house, it was giving me more dishes to wash than I needed, so I got rid of them,the boxes the food comes in are just fine :)

I did come across in last nights reading that she first started saying her mom died in 2005 in February 2010, stating that she has been dead 5 years noiw!!!
