I saw steam coming from a second source, down in the right corner---instead of saying I saw the steamer.

NQ.... I got a crick in my neck looking for the "second steam" but I can't see it. :))
N Q03/20/15 15:23
well that was interesting. There was a long line of people walking across the green area in a straight line---sorta like small kids following their teacher but these were adults.
I see that there are actually 2 steamers. When the steam clears up enough so that you can see, there's a second source of steam down in the right corner of the webcam.

I'm so glad we don't get such awful weather.

Maybe they're just throwing a few more professors onto the bonfire to keep warm. ;P
No worries MD ... I saw that we posted almost simultaneously again. ;)

MD I hadn't noticed the 8 hour screenshot--that does seem like a really long time to be steaming a pipe unless it's the main sewer line going up and down the length of the street.
If I remember right 2 winters ago when we had the extreme cold temps and lots of snow they also used the steamer to defrost frozen water pipes.

Morning all. :)
NQ ... that sounds very feasible. :)
N Q03/20/15 15:00
trix have you ever seen them steam out a sewer pipe that's been frozen in your area ? that's what looks like is being done here.
If you enlarge the screen, you'll see a few people standing around the truck and there's a small red trailer hitch to the white truck and that's where the steam is coming from.

Trix ....very odd.

I'm puzzled by the steam/smoke pipe.
